We believe so wholeheartedly in the power of self-belief, we reclaimed this so-called loaded term for ourselves by putting it front-and-center in the name of our woman-owned business.

We’re more than just a brand, we’re a movement encouraging women to invest in themselves via the business of beauty. Established in 2006 as a premiere Bay Area salon, our business was founded by local entrepreneurs Jess Mayeux and Taya Gregory. Intent on empowering the everyday woman to maintain their salon style at home, we spent several years researching and testing a variety of high-quality virgin hair at home and abroad. Ultimately, we wanted to create a hair line that allows our clients to achieve a variety of different styles and embrace self-care as a true act of self-love. We now manufacture premium textured hair extensions that enable women to achieve a longer, fuller style that blends beautifully with their natural hair.
